Forest Ward — The Guardian of Sacred Space

Forest Ward is the forest’s silent protector, a blend that holds you in the steadfast embrace of ancient trees and gentle earth. It opens with the bright lift of bergamot and geranium, like sunlight piercing the canopy. Catnip, fir, and cedarwood weave a living shield, grounding and protecting your energy.

Rose, ylang ylang, and vanilla soften the edges, filling the heart with warmth, while sandalwood, amyris, labdanum, and patchouli anchor you deep into the forest floor. Benzoin’s sweet resin lingers like the comforting hum of nature’s sanctuary.

This is a blend of rooted strength and tender protection—your companion when you need to ground, shield, and rest in the certainty that you are safe and supported.

Threshold Anointing (Daily Protection Ritual)

Use this before stepping into the outside world—whether forest, field, or city street.

Instructions:

  • Apply to pulse points: wrists, neck, ankles, and heart center.

  • Close your eyes. Inhale deeply.

  • Speak aloud or silently:  “I walk beneath the forest’s watch. I am shielded. I am safe.”

  • Step out with calm and clarity, knowing your space is yours.

The Insect Veil (Functional Ritual Before Outdoor Time)

Perfect before gardening, hiking, camping, or rituals under the open sky.

Instructions:

  • Dilute as needed and apply generously to exposed skin.

  • As you apply, visualize a soft green light wrapping around your body like a living veil.

  • Say:  “Let what bites pass me by. Let what lingers be cleared. I walk with peace in the breath of trees.”

  • Reapply as needed with mindfulness and breath.

Energetic Warding (For Empaths, Travelers, or Healers)

This ritual grounds and protects your energetic field, especially useful before emotional labor or travel.

Instructions:

  • Apply a small amount to your sternum, lower back, and feet.

  • Sit in stillness or stand barefoot.

  • Visualize deep forest roots growing beneath you and a canopy above.

  • Say:  “Root and crown, breath and ground—no harm shall pass this sacred bound.”

  • Allow the scent to settle as your boundaries are renewed.

Post-Cleansing Seal (To Close a Spiritual Clearing)

Use this after smoke-cleansing, breathwork, or emotional release to re-seal and protect your energy.

Instructions:

  • Rub a small amount between your palms.

  • Sweep your hands gently over your body without touching—crown to feet.

  • Say:  “This body, this breath, this being—sealed in peace, warded in green.”

This blend uses fractionated coconut oil as a carrier so its not recommended for use in a diffuser.  There is a creamy soft sweetness more like pound cake. There is also natural leafy-woodsy softness that is certainly less fruity than lemon.

⚠️ Safety Info

For external use only Dilute before applying to large areas of skin (suggested: 2–5% in fractionated coconut oil)

Safe for most adults but not recommended for young children or during pregnancy (due to catnip, ylang ylang, patchouli)

May be phototoxic if bergamot is not FCF—ensure proper sourcing or avoid sun on applied areas Discontinue use if irritation occurs Store in a cool, dark place
