New Moon

The dark of the Moon is not an empty place.
It's a pause – the quiet space between what has ended and what has not yet begun.
Focus: release • reset • begin

A Time to Begin
The new moon arrives in darkness–a quiet beginning, a blank page, a moment to consider what we want to grow.
This is a time for planting seeds, both literal and otherwise. For setting intentions without demanding answers. For beginning something simply because it feels ready to begin.
And because this New Moon falls in Leo, there is a little fire beneath all that darkness.
Leo asks us to create. To be brave enough to be seen. To remember the things that make us feel alive–not because they are productive or practical, but because they are ours.
A Simple New Moon Ritual
You don't need anything elaborate.
Find a quiet place. Light a candle if you wish. Take a few slow breaths and think about what you are ready to leave behind–and what you would like to make room for instead.
Write down one thing you are releasing.
Then write down one thing you would like to begin.
Keep it simple. The new moon is not about having the entire path mapped out. It is about choosing where you would like to take the first step.
Optional botanical companions:
Lavender for quiet reflection,
Rosemary for clarity,
Frankincense for grounding and intention.
The moon will grow from here. So will the things we choose to begin.
For now, we simply plant the seed–and trust that becoming does not have to happen all at once.
Until the moon turns again
