Latin name:  Cymbopogon nardusi

Extraction method:  Steam distillation

Countries of Origin:  Guatamala, South America, Sri Lanka, Java, Burma, Madagascar, 

Note:  Top

Color:  Pale yellow, yellow to brownish yellow.

Aroma:  Slightly sweet, herbaceous, lemon, grassy.

Note of interest:  Used to deter mosquitoes and other insects.

Supports the properties of: Antidepressant, antiseptic, deodorant, insecticide, parasiticide, tonic, stimulant, 

Energetics:  Clearing, uplifting.  

Blends well with:  Bergamot, Cajuput, Eucalyptus, Geranuim, Lavender, Neroli, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Sage, Ylang Ylang

Safety information:  Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing.  May cause contact dermatitis in some people.  Tisserand & Young-Max dermal level of 18.2% due to geraniol content.  No known contraindicatioons.
